Today my parents went home. It was a sad, sad day. For me, at least. They were probably looking forward to getting home and getting some rest. ;-) Not a lot of that going on over here.
I loved having my mom around to help with Nicholas (and my dad to entertain the munchkins). For some strange reason, it is hard to get anything done around here with a baby who wants to be held 24 hours a day.
It was glorious to have four arms for a couple of days. (This goes along with my theory that we should grow an extra arm with each child.)
Anyhow, they spoiled us rotten with baby gifts and an early Christmas. Also, grandma brought Nicholas his baby quilt. It is from her Baby Dot-to-dot pattern, and is made from all different greens, aquas and grays, then backed with aqua Moda snuggles. I loooove it. So does the boy, as far as we can tell. He spent the weekend wrapped in it, snuggling with Grandma.
Thanks for coming, mom and dad.
Sure love ya.
