I would just like to start off by thanking you for the encouragement and support you left here yesterday. Feeling awfully loved over here, thanks to you. I heart you all! Thank you much.
But lets not dwell on all that... moving on!
Do you know about Fat Quarterly? Probably so, but in the off chance that you don't, it is a fantastic online publication that features modern quilting in all its forms. They were so wonderful to feature me and my book a while back in issue 3, a few weeks before Nicholas was born, and amidst all the crazy, I didn't have a chance to thank them and blog about it. Hopefully this will make up for it! (thanks guys!)
In the spirit of March Madness, Fat Quarterly is hosting Modern Madness, an online voting compitition where a fabric lines go head to head and the winner progresses. Pretty sweet, eh? The mastermind behind all of this madness? None other than the amazing John of Quilt Dad. If you don't read his blog, you should. He's pretty clever.
Learn more about Modern Madness and print out your brackets here, and if you love Bliss (above) as much as I do, pretty please go vote for it here! It's up against Farmdale by Alexander Henry this week in Round 2. A tough contender, for sure. Don't forget to vote for the other 3 Moda-ites (French General, Fig Tree, and Aneela Hoey) too. Go Moda!
Happy March to you all, and in the spirit of March Madness, goooo Cougars!
