said Simple Abundance bow tie pasta from way back when
Do you ever have so much to do that you do nothing? I do. Not very often, but I do.
A few years ago I was in a similar predicament. I had a whole lot of sewing to do, patterns to design and write, and about a million other things to accomplish for Quilt Market, but instead I sat on my couch and made bow tie pastas out of scraps to fill up the pretty aqua collander my cute husband surprised me with. It was a lovely evening. An unproductive one, but a lovely one.
Tonight I have a million things I should be doing. But instead, I am going to be bow tie pasta-ing it, and quilting a quilt I made just for fun out of some truly delightful Fig fabric and eating egg rolls. Because really, I love what I do. And if making bow tie pastas or stippling a quilt just for fun helps me to continue to love what I do (and it does!), then by all means, I'm going to do it.
Because seriously, could you walk away from this to do bookkeeping and taxes?
yum
Yeah, me either.
I'll show you pictures as soon as I get 'er bound. Unless you want to come over tonight and work on my taxes, that is. (please?) I'll give you one of my egg rolls. (Heck, I'll give you the quilt!)
Also, sorry about all the run on sentences in this post. This little stinker hasn't been the best sleeper as of late. I'm feeling it.
Good thing he's cute
What do you do on your bow tie pasta days?
