Reports are starting to trickle in. Cotton Blossoms is hitting the shelves in quilt stores everywhere!!
I dropped by Quiltique today and they were busy cutting their Cotton Blossoms fat quarters! (Thanks for the mention in The Stash, ladies!!) Nadine over at Material Girls wrote to say she's got the whole line in. I always liked that Nadine... ;-) Amy at The Quilt Shoppe in Rigby called me to say they got it in and it was selling like hot cakes (how do hotcakes sell?...) AND Abbotts in Rigby wrote in to say they have the whole line in as well. Honestly, I spent so much time at Abbotts when I was a kid, it was like a second home. Oh Rigby, I miss you...
Lanie Jane, an almost brand new online store (opening in the next few weeks) blogged to say that they have it in as well. I can't wait to see the new shop when its all done. It's going to be great!
Fat Quarter Shop, as I mentioned in the last post has Cotton Blossoms, and I'm blogging over at the Jolly Jabber sometime again today, so feel free to stop by and say hello!
Deseret Book/Mormon Handicraft has the full line in as well, and the Orem location is currently showing my entire trunk show. The first person who goes over and takes some pictures of it for me gets a prize... :-) Give them a day or two though, I think it just arrived today.
If your shop has Cotton Blossoms in, let me know so I can point people in your direction!
Wow, I've got a lot to cover today! Hang in there!
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments on the giveaway post! My heart is full. (And cheesy, apparently) I LOVE all my blog friends, and LOVE to meet new ones! I'm so happy you guys love Cotton Blossoms almost as much as I do! I'll skip over the "I wish everyone could win" part (because you KNOW I really, really, really do) and skip to what you are waiting for: The Random Number Generator. The winner is number 61...
Stefanie from California who loves fabric, diet pepsi and RED purses and shoes! You are today's lucky winner, so send me your info at [email protected] and we'll get things squared away.
Again, THANK you to each of you for entering and for telling us a little something about yourself. I love giveaways. Have I mentioned that before?
Since it is a week for celebrating, my etsy shop is joining in the fun. For 1 week, through next Friday, all patterns in my etsy shop are buy 3 get 1 free. (Is that what they call a four-fer?) All you have to do is at checkout, in the comments to seller section, list the pattern you want for free. That's it!
My favorite sister-in-law on the Roskelley side, Christina, has a special going on through the end of the month with her hand stamped jewelry over at Simply Ornamental. 20% off AND free shipping! Can't beat that! Email her at [email protected] and she'll hook you up. (Does anyone say that anymore?)
A few more things... Angela over at Moda started a blog called Moda*Home*Mom that you have to check out. I have been bugging Moda to start blogging for a while now, and am so excited to have them join in the blogging world, especially in the form of Angela. Hooray! She's doing a super creative contest over there, so stop by soon!
I'm sure many of you have seen the wonderful outpouring of love for Nie Nie and her family all over blogland, but in case you haven't, I thought I would mention it as well. Stephanie (Nie Nie) and her husband Christian were involved in a plane crash, and although I only knew Nie Nie through blogging, I am beyond impressed with her spirit, her love for her family, and her outlook on life. Design Mom has organized a huge silent auction event, so make sure you head over there and spread some love by bidding on any one of the hundreds of great items donated to benefit the darling Nielson family. You'll be glad you did.
Oh, there is much going on over here at Thimble Blossoms. So much. Too much? Nah, just the right amount of much.
