Remember a while back when I mentioned some amazing opportunities that were coming up? Well, The Creative Connection is certainly one of said amazing opportunities, and certainly one that was too great to pass up.
What is The Creative Connection? It is a 3 day conference and market for creative women to shop, take classes, go to panel discussions, eat, shop, and mingle with other creative women (and shop). The genius behind The Creative Connection is none other than Jo Packham and Nancy Soriano of Where Women Create.
Oh, and did I mention that I'm one of the teachers at the event? Yep, ME. It's pretty darn exciting! (...with a smidgen of terrifying on the side.) I can't wait! It's going to be a party. Also, Amy is giving the Keynote, so you definitely don't want to miss that.
The class I am teaching is a simple kitchen project. Read more about it here. You get to choose between a table topper or 3 hot pads, both out of... (wait for it) BLISS! Hooray! In fact, it may not even be in stores yet. So yeah, you should come. And since there are a limited number of spots in the class, you may want to hurry.
Note: The fabric in the photos is actually Hunky Dory by Moda, (cute, right??) but we will be sewing out of Bliss in class. Sneak peek of Bliss here.
So mark your calendars September 16-18 and come join us! You can come for one day, for three days, or take a full week off and spend a few extra days shopping, eating out, and not cleaning your house. I won't tell.
edit: Just found out you could win a day pass over at the Where Women Create blog! Go, go, go!
another edit: Oh my gosh! I completely forgot to announce the winner of some sunshine. Tracy, you are the winner. Email me your info and I'll send it right out. Thank you to everyone who spread some sunshine. I stick to it- you girls are the best. It's true.
