So you know how when you hear your voice on a recording and you think "Do I really sound like that??"  Well, seeing yourself on camera is even worse.  But this video shows my new patterns (and my mom's), and since I haven't gotten around to showing them yet, I thought I'd give you a heads up.  Also, I'm going over to list them in my etsy shop now, even though they won't ship until Tuesdayish. (Holiday weekend!)  Hope you like them!

Thanks Moda Gene, for making this less painful to record than to watch.  And thank you 3rd child bump for making sure you made an appearance there at the end.  I still feel it is way too early for that, but hey, what do I know?...

I'm back- sorta...

Quilt Market is over, and it is all a bit of a blur at this point.  Being home with the fam, and back in my own bed is wonderful.  I've had about 18 naps since I got home, have eaten most of the food in the house, and haven't touched my suitcases except to take out my toothbrush.  

Turns out, this baby growing stuff is a lot of work.  I'm beat! 

Give me a day or two to regroup, get orders out, hang out with the boys, and find my brain, then I'll be back with new patterns, (a few) booth pics and more.  Deal?

One more thing, if you are looking for a great QM report, check out Heather's blog.  She's so on top of things.  Puts me to shame.  Also, FQS has a LOT of goodies over there.  Actually, now that I think about it, pretty much everybody but me has a great QM post up.... hmmm.... so to sum up, sorry for being lame.  I'll try to snap out of it!

First of all, thank you for all the congratulations and sweet comments!  You guys sure know how to make a girl feel special.  Thank you!  The number one question was when the baby is coming.  I'm due December 10, but the doctor says that if it goes anything like the last two (Canon was 8lbs 10 oz and ten days early) it will probably be more like the end of November.  Cross your fingers for that!  The number two question was how I'm feeling.  Not good.  Let's just leave it at that.  Only 6 more months of morning/all day/all night sickness to go!  :-)  

A lot of questions about Bliss lately- I believe it is going to hit stores the same time the others did, end of August, September-ish.  I never know how much to show you, since it isn't available for such a long time.  Do you want to see more now, or wait until it is closer?  

Anyhow, today my bags are (somewhat) packed, my quilts are bound (a miracle), pattern covers are done (but not the patterns- they still need proofed) and I'm heading to Quilt Market in Minneapolis in the morning.  Can't believe it is here again.  If you are going to be there, come say hello!  If you aren't, come back soon for a Market recap, eh?

Excuses

Sorry I've been so lame.  I promise I'm not slacking over here.  Even though I've been missing, I have loads of good excuses.  The biggest excuse is this:

But the good news is, 6 new patterns are at the printer (Hooray!) and I can't wait to show them to you.  Soon! 

Also, I found this the other day, and it pretty much made my day (!).  And trust me, it needed to be made.  See, our whole family has been sick.  Not sick, SICK.  We've all had high fevers, coughs, etc, and completely missed the whole Mothers Day thing (Love ya Mom!) not to mention the whole being able to walk or keep anything down thing.  What are the odds all four of us would have it at the same time?  It's been awful.  Awful, I tell you.  I have been sick more times since the boys started school in August than the rest of my life put together.  Jarom too.  Why is that?  Geesh.

So to sum up, new stuff coming soon.  Really soon.  Fabric is in messy piles, but as soon as I get it cleaned up, I'll post some decent pictures.  Book is on Amazon. Feels "official"!  Family sick.  Living off saltines and Powerade.  Oh, and if you make a killer chicken soup, let me know.
