I apologize in advance.
There are a LOT of photos of my Farmer's Wife blocks in this post.
I couldn't pick. Shocking, I know.
They could use a good pressing, but now that they are all laid out on the white dining table I don't see them moving any time soon.
A few days ago I made 6 more blocks just like I explained in this post. Gosh it was fun. I have 23 more blocks to make, so about 4 more sets of 6. Look for those soon. I'm on a roll. :-)
Today's set:
Block 7- Birds in the Air
Block 18- Century of Progress (I switched this one around)
Block 13: Buckwheat
Block 17: Cats and Mice
Block 22- Corn and Beans
Block 12: Broken Sugar Bowl
And then all together:
I thought about sashing them in rows,
but I like them on point so much better. See?
I laid them all out on my dining room table today and can't seem to move them.
For those of you who asked, I'm making the twin-size quilt, which is 73" x 92", and sashing in white. Probably red (or green?) posts and an aqua border. Thoughts?
I'm already plotting my next (somewhat insane) project.
Sewing is my favorite.
