So last week I got these little hooligans back in school and I've been sewing.
Really, a lot. What have I been sewing?
Baby quilts.
Like this one, for a nephew who is coming soon,
(Jellybean, babyfied)
Then a few more for some really sweet friends, most of which are going to be having babies any day now, so their quilts are still a secret.
And also a few I didn't get pictures of before I gave them away. Darn it.
I've quilted all of them, and have been trying my hardest to channel Angela Walters. Do you have her book? It's fantastic. (So is she.) You'll love it. Get it.
I've sewn eight baby quilts in the past month alone.
That's a lot of baby quilts.

But when you get to see a sweet brand new baby all wrapped up in it, all that hard work is totally worth it.

Mostly I just hope that if I give someone a baby quilt they'll let me hold their new baby a lot. Tricky huh.
And guess what? It works. :-)
