I'm sure you've seen Fall Quilt Market posts popping up everywhere this past week or two, and by now you've probably see it all, but I love looking back at old market posts, so I hope you don't mind one more. I'll be quick!
Also... I may have dropped the ball this year. I mean, Houston was amazing, and it was so great to see everyone and everything, but I took a whopping 16 photos on my real camera. The rest were on my phone. Oops! Sorry ahead of time.
I mentioned in my last post that we had a Designer Studio booth in the Moda section this time and it was heavenly. Especially the part where we had walls! And the part where our flight was delayed and we got to the show late the night before it started and set up the booth in 45 minutes. Thank goodness for Moda (and Jarom)!
So here is the whole booth, my mom's quilts are on the left, and mine are on the right.
The little table in the center of the booth with my mom's placemats and my mini quilts-

(You absolutely have to see more of the booth and watch the take-down video over on the Moda blog!)
This is the colorful version from the Puddle Jumping cover that Moda made for their booth. It was so fun to see it!
Puddle Jumping on the back wall-

My mom's side of the booth- She had six (!) new patterns from April Showers to show. You can see them all here on her blog. Great job Mom!)
And my side of the booth.
My mom wasn't able to make it this time (but she will be in the Spring!) so Jarom tagged along with me again. He is such great help!
For the most part.
It is always so great to see the Moda Crew!
And of course, all the friends we only see once or twice a year.
Which is definitely not enough.
I posted a whole bunch more photos from the show over on Instagram (which you can see online by clicking here or look me up under @thimbleblossoms) so if you want to see more, head on over there. Oh, and here is a tour of the booth that Fat Quarter Shop filmed!
It's painful, I know. ;-)
All in all, aside from wishing my mom was there (it's not the same without her!), it was a pretty great show. I have a few new projects coming up in the next little while, but for the most part, I'll have a nice long break until Market next Spring. Which I'll spend it sewing, of course!
Thanks Houston, you were great!
