I have some exciting news today! You may have seen mention of it on Instagram or Facebook, but I have a pretty amazing opportunity coming up in June, and I am couldn't be more excited about it! A few weeks ago I received my first ever passport in the mail, and this June I am going to use it to teach in Australia. I can hardly believe it!
I'm going to be attending the Patchwork Retailers Convention and Trade Show with the amazing Di Mill June 7-8, where I will have a trunk show and get to meet with all of the wonderful Australian retailers. If you are a retailer, there is more info here on Di's blog.
I'll also be teaching classes for one of my brand new patterns, Red Letter Day, all over Australia!
Here's the schedule:
Tuesday June 10- Teaching at Fifi's Fabricology on the Gold Coast
Wednesday June 11- Trunk show at Fifi's Fabricology in the morning and The Quilter's Store in Brisbane in the evening.
Thursday June 12- Teaching at The Quilter's Store in Brisbane
Friday June 13- Trunk Show at Kim Bradley Creations in Sydney
Saturday June 14- Teaching at Quiltsmith in Sydney
Sunday June 15- Teaching at Kim Bradley Creations in Sydney
Whew! Did I get all of that right?
It's going to be a crazy 6 days of sewing, teaching, chatting, giveaways and trunk shows, and I hope I get to meet all of you Aussies while I'm there! Check with the shops above for more information on the classes and trunk shows and come sew with me, will you? I can't wait!!!
Now, what quilts should I bring with me? :-)
